Mark H. Slatten, MS, QP, PG

Principal Geologist and Qualified Person, Alchemy Ecominers. Author of SEC S-K 1300 technical report summaries, professional geologist since 1978.

Biography

Mark Slatten is the Principal Geologist and Qualified Person at Alchemy Ecominers, where he leads the technical authorship of mineral reserve and resource disclosures filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulators worldwide.

A practicing Professional Geologist since 1978, Mark has spent more than four decades in the discovery, evaluation, and feasibility of mineral assets. He has authored Regulation S-K 1300 Technical Report Summaries on preliminary feasibility and feasibility studies, including the report on the Yellow Jacket 2A placer gold claim in Clark County, Nevada — a 640-acre property in the Yellow Jacket claims group on Bureau of Land Management land in the Moapa Valley.

Mark's career bridges field geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology, geophysics, and the disclosure standards that govern modern mineral securities. He has served as Chief Geologist for Aureus Global Limited and previously consulted independently for Grand Canyon Gold Corporation. As a Qualified Person under SEC Regulation S-K 1300, his education and work experience satisfy all the requirements for reporting under the Securities Acts.

At Alchemy Ecominers he is the senior technical voice behind MiDAS — the Mineral Information Data Analysis System — and the authority responsible for ensuring that every reserve estimate, production model, and disclosure leaving the platform meets the standards required by the SEC, the Canadian Securities Administrators, and the JORC Code.
